After starring in an award-winning movie as a perfection-obsessed ballerina (and after getting engaged to a man who taught people how to look like ballet dancers for that movie), it’d be safe to assume Natalie Portman would know how to cut a rug. But when she met Ellen DeGeneres backstage at The Ellen Show yesterday, all she ended up doing was cutting up.
Portman asks DeGeneres, who is known for dancing on every single show, to show her some of her moves, then sits down and starts barking instructions in her direction. “You can be good … but now show us your bad side,” Portman says. “You’re the black swan! You are! Can you be a black bear?”
DeGeneres obliges at every turn and then observes that “Pregnant women are crazy.” It’s too hilarious not to watch.
